Enabling transformation
Mavim is a Dutch software company that helps organisations to better understand how their organisation actually works. With Mavim, users can build a Digital Twin of an Organisation (DTO): a digital model in which strategy, processes, people, systems, and governance are interconnected.
This way, organisations can analyse processes, identify bottlenecks, document responsibilities, and better substantiate organisational change.
To enable customers and partners to work effectively with such a comprehensive software platform, good training is an important part of the overall customer experience.
Efficiently training clients
Training clients took a lot of time for Mavim. Mavim's software deals with complex topics and requires a good explanation. To organise this better, Mavim reviewed its own processes and looked at where manual steps were still needed.
Subsequently, components such as finance, marketing, software delivery, and support were automated. In addition, Mavim has established an extensive partner network so that clients can receive support worldwide.
Training also needed to scale accordingly: independent of time zones, available trainers, and fixed training moments.
E-learning solution
More than 200 hours of video
A comprehensive library of instructional videos makes software knowledge available to customers and partners at any time.
Interactive software demos
Users are guided step by step through a simulated version of the software and can actively practice actions.
Short quizzes
Knowledge questions help users to immediately check whether they understand the main functionality and working methods.
Learn–Practice–Do: learning software by watching and practising
The Mavim Academy combines different learning forms into one learning journey. Users first view instructions, then practise with interactive demos, and afterwards test their knowledge. The public Mavim Academy describes this approach as Learn–Practice–Do.
As a result, software training is not limited to passive watching. Participants can recognise functionality, practise in a safe environment, and check through quizzes and assessments whether they are ready to apply the knowledge in practice.
The Academy supports various learning strategies: from extensive learning journeys to short, role-oriented or bite-sized training for employees who want to look something up exactly at the moment of need.
An academy of this size requires continuous maintenance
Software is constantly changing. New functionality, customised screens, and altered processes mean that training materials must also change.
Maxcademy therefore takes care of the maintenance of this extensive learning environment: from writing and updating scripts to producing and keeping videos up-to-date and uploading material in the LMS.
As a result, Mavim does not have to manage the Academy as a one-off project, but can the learning environment continue to grow alongside the product and the international user group.
Results
24/7 training worldwide
Always and everywhere access to training. This allows Mavim users to learn at their own pace and at a time that suits them.
Flexible scaling
Maxcademy scales with Mavim, so that customers have access to training without being dependent on fixed training moments.
Month after month an 8+
The Mavim Academy is rated by users as ‘Very good’ and scores 8 or higher month after month.
For Maxcademy, this collaboration shows how e-learning can evolve from a training solution to a structural part of software adoption, customer support and international scalability.
