The most frequently asked questions
A 15-minute module costs us approximately € 1500,- all-in excluding VAT. Within that rate, we write the scripts for you, create 3 minutes of animation with human voice-over, and place it in your Learning Management System or deliver it in SCORM format.
We provide Maxcademy Learn, a Learning Management System (LMS) based on Moodle. We are unique in the Netherlands because we offer subscriptions based on monthly active users (MAU). Our LMS supports SCORM, xAPI, and single sign-on (SSO).
However, we remain independent in our services. We can work directly in your LMS, or provide you with honest and independent advice when selecting an LMS that truly fits your organisation.
Yes, we also provide standalone services. Whether you need an hour of help to check a script, a complete animation with a human voice-over, or an entire project from start to finish.
We can create shorts based on the e-learning content we have built for you. We can also create brochures to promote the e-learning content. We do not make corporate films or promotional animations. That is a completely different specialty, and other parties are better at that.
If permitted by the client, we use GenAI (such as ChatGPT or Claude) for brainstorming, proofreading, summarising, and rewriting. We never write entire texts or courses with GenAI.
We use AI voices as an accessibility feature (as an alternative to reading text in the e-learning modules) and as a placeholder during the development process. For the final product, we still prefer human voice-overs. The advantage for us is that an actor usually pronounces the script correctly in one go. We also find a human actor sounds better.
We work a lot with Articulate Rise and provide SCORM or xAPI for almost any LMS. We can also work directly in the client's LMS. Upon request, we can also use Storyline or Captivate, but we only do this if there is no more efficient alternative - such as in the case of click demos or complex interactions.
Between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on how quickly we receive feedback from the client.
