For many projects, the standard interactions in Rise are just sufficient. But sometimes the learning objective requires a more specific experience.
Maxcademy can develop custom interactions and mini-games and integrate them into a Rise module. For example, at Kooyman we have used custom interactive mini-games around hazard recognition and personal protective equipment.
This keeps the module maintainable in Rise, while specific components gain more freedom than the standard authoring package offers.
Rise and Storyline can complement each other
Rise is strong for responsive, modular content and quick maintenance. Storyline offers more freedom for complex interactions, simulations and customisation.
When the project requires it, we can combine both: Rise as the main structure and Storyline for specific interactive components.
We advise on the appropriate solution per learning objective, so that complexity is only added where it truly adds value.

SCORM / xAPI / LMS
Publishing, uploading and testing in your existing learning environment.
Do you already have an LMS? Then we will deliver Rise for that.
You do not need to take Maxcademy LMS to have us build Rise content. We can publish the module as SCORM/xAPI and assist with upload and technical QA.
Think of completion status, passing scores, reporting behaviour and testing whether the module communicates correctly with the LMS.
Do you not have an LMS yet? Then we can provide Maxcademy Learn or advise independently.
Design Rise content so that updates remain affordable later
Especially with software, procedures and compliance, the first version is not the last. Therefore, we consider maintenance in the design phase.
We work modularly where possible, avoid unnecessary complexity and can remain involved after delivery with content updates, new language versions, multimedia adjustments and republishing.
Agreements regarding access to the Articulate environment, ownership and source files are clearly established in advance.

Yes, depending on the desired behaviour and the technical situation. We have experience in adding custom interactions and mini-games when standard Rise functionality is not sufficient.
Yes. Existing materials can serve as a source. We do advise not to take them over one-to-one, but first to determine what the target audience really needs to learn and which interactive form fits that.
We will agree on this in advance based on the chosen method and Articulate environment. If you want to remain the owner and administrator, we can work directly in your environment.
Yes. We can continue to update content, media, interactions, and language versions and provide new exports for the LMS if necessary.
